About Janea

Janea C. Jamison is a seasoned policy advocate, strategist, and consultant with a decade of experience shaping programs, policies, and partnerships that drive community-centered impact. Appointed by the Biden-Harris Administration as a Regional Advocate for the U.S. Small Business Administration, Janea has led federal engagement efforts across five states, ensuring small business and community voices inform policy at the highest levels.

As a consultant, Janea partners with organizations to design and implement programs, develop and manage budgets, build statewide campaigns, and lead community and stakeholder engagement strategies. Her expertise includes working with elected officials, local governments, chambers of commerce, and diverse community stakeholders to advance initiatives across renewable energy, civic engagement, economic development, and equity-centered leadership.

A native of Louisiana’s Bayou Region, Janea is passionate about empowering communities and organizations to move from vision to execution. Whether building grant programs, leading complex projects from start to finish, or advising on stakeholder and government relations, Janea brings clarity, structure, and purpose to every project.
